The announcement on Pink Floyd’s facebook page that by the end of 2016 a CD would be released containing pre-Pink Floyd tracks, which means they’re probably by Syd Barrett, was enough reason to dig up one of these tracks from the archive, which is released on single in England in the meantime. Next to the fact that he was an innovating soprano saxophone player, Lacy was also a revolutionary composer. In his compositions, Lacy bridged between bebop and modern classical music. The performances by Ideal Bread are typical for them but without losing track of the characteristic style of Lacy.
