The Art Of The Improvisers

The French pianist Sophie Agnel (Paris, 1964) plays after what she calls “preppiano intensif”, she prepares the piano with the most diverse objects. First, recordings from a solo performance in 2008, after that pieces of her in a trio with French saxophone player Bertrand Gauguet and the German Andrea Neumann, who uses the electronically manipulated inside piano with strings.
