November Music 2007 #3.
Musical report of the contemporary music festival ‘November Music’, edition 2007. Three concerts in this third part.
(1) Berlin, die Sinfonie der Großstadt, a concert based on the legendary film of experimental film director Walter Ruttmann (1887-1941). Improvisation by Ensemble Intégrales and the Augsburger Tafelconfect.
(2) Guus Janssen and Thomas Heberer gave a concert in the St Janskathedraal. Guus Janssen played the church organ, Thomas Heberer blew his trumpet somewhere near. Just pure improvisation music on the programme.
(3) Finally violin player Monica Germino played (and spoke) a piece by Louis Andriessen: Xenia.
