Barbara Morgenstern.
Special on Barbara Morgenstern. In November 2008, Barbara Morgenstern presented her fifth album. On “BM” are songs that, just like the previous album “The Grass Is Always Greener” (2006), have been composed following the German song tradition. Morgenstern sings in German, places her piano compositions in an electronic environment and with that tries to take a modern step in the schmalzy popular song tradition. The German singer-songwriter Barbara Morgenstern succeeds the most in this on her album “The Grass Is Always Greener”. On “BM” a more sparkling sound can be heard and is technically and electronically speaking more interesting. The time is right, therefore, to present a compilation of both albums in a special Popart mix.
