On 10 February, there was a performance of the rarely executed Crippled Symmetry (1983) in light of the four-day Feldman music event. Rarely because of its length: 1 hour and 45 minutes! We were there in the great hall of the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ. Performing artists were members of the Ives Ensemble: Rik Andriessen (flute, bass flute), Arnold Marinissen (vibraphone, glockenspiel), John Snijders (piano, celesta).
