Bonum Est: a programme on Gregorian Chant. Sources – Southern India & Medieval Europe.

In the 30th episode of Bonum Est you will hear a CD which originated from a great desire to connect the Medieval repertoire with a living oral tradition. Aruna Sairam and Dominique Vellard both seeked for hymns that affected, inspired and fascinated them. Even though the hymns may differ significantly in place, time and nature, they do share the same goal; in which man’s singing is a vehicle to the divine.
