Bonum Est: a programme on Gregorian Chant. Vellard, Sairam & Tahiri in Gent.
In the 63rd episode of Bonum Est you will hear live recordings of Dominique Vellard (picture on the right), Aruna Sairam (picture at the bottom) and Noureddine Tahiri.
Parts of a concert consisting of devotional repertoire, Vedic and Koran recitations, Sufi songs Gregorian Chant, sefardic songs… Each tradition, each religion, enriched by listening to others, generates an inspiring power and mystic emotion.
The programme was compiled in the abbey of Thoronet in 2002 and afterwards performed at the Festival d’Ile de France (2003), the abbey of Fontevraud (2004) and in Gent, Belgium and Nantes, France (2006).
In the meantime the programme has expanded with traditions and instrumentalists.
