Series about and with Catalan gambist and conductor Jordi Savall, part 39. For the second time we focus on the CD book ‘Mare Nostrum’, recently published by Jordi Savall, featuring music originating from countries around the Mediterranean Sea.
‘Mare Nostrum’ (‘Our Sea’) is how the Romans called the Mediterranean Sea. On this double CD Savall is exploring the music of the countries surrounding this area, like Turkey, Israel, Morocco and other countries.
