Explanation per track:
The voice in "Forty Six Things I Did Today" is from Annie Anxiety.
"Space Odyssey Revisited": Objects and phenomenona which are often seen as ‘static’ appear often to be lively processes or forms of live on a different scale or measure. It is possible to observe known ‘hidden’ activities (like the movement of planets, cellular live or electromagnetic disturbances) with the help of certain techniques. These processes could also be considered as a variation in a state of higher consciousness or hypersensitivity. And sometimes they are even fun!
"Coh Infra" is part of a publication that was made especially for "Taktlos-Bern", a two-day event in Bern in September 2000 where the label Raster-Noton presented itself in the forms of sound, image, concerts and installations.
"20’21” is part of a series of 12 Minimax CDs which was released by Raster-Noton in 1999. That year each month a following part of the series was released. The series had to give a cross-section of the most progressive music of that moment, just before the elapsing of the millennium.
"Untitled" is a live recording made in the VPRO studios on 15 July 2000. Mort Aux Vaches is a series of CD releases of the Amsterdam Berlin record label Staalplaat. This series pays full and sole attention to the release of these VPRO radio sessions.
