A Sunday programme in the ‘baroque spirit’. Sorrow music and Easter music by Pachelbel and J. S. Bach, by The Bach Players from their new double CD.
This London group, founded in 1996 by Nicolette Moonen, set themselves to music from the baroque and classicalism, with an emphasis on Johan Sebastian Bach.
On 13 April, The Bach Players with alto Sally Bruce-Payne will give a concert at the Paaskerk in Baarn, with music by Pachelbel and Bach.
Look here for that concert’s programme.
And here for the website of Prelude Klassieke Muziek in Baarn.
