Uit de sixties en seventies komen geluiden van boeddhistische monniken in Kyoto, Diga Rhythm Band met o.a. Mickey Hart en Jerry Garcia, de Braziliaan Milton Nascimento en de Canadese underground sensatie Terence. Geen hapklare brokken maar een intens luisteravontuur, dat de grenzen van de folk opzoekt.
