A remarkable debut CD from the young Dutch-Serbian pianist Miloš Gouka, who renders Chopin’s series of 24 preludes opus 28 in such a way that it will put you on the edge of your seat. By means of his transparent way of playing, he shines some light on Chopin’s super original second voices and rhythms. This causes the preludes to feel new and fresh, like after a shower of rain.
