Mose se Fan Fan
This hour is devoted to soukous again, the festive style of music from Congo, in which intertwining guitar strings and vocals stir up the place. In the late sixties and early seventies, life not only became faster, but also rougher because independence did not bring what people had expected. And seeing as how music is a reflection of society, the music also became faster and rougher. In Congo the soukous was born, which came forth from the rumba congolaise.
