Music from Siberia, of Buryats, Tungus & Yakuts
The tundra and taiga areas in northeast Asia take up a large part in the north, all the way to the polar circles and to the Sea of Japan in the east. The music that will be played this next hour is from these parts, from three Altaic tribes: the Yakuts, the Tungus and the Buryats.
During the programme, the music will be accompanied by thorough explanations.
