DJ Bertú plays Global Beats without limits and gets inspiration and grooves from deep jungles, distant deserts but also from the urban beats in the cities and jams from around the corner. He has been captivated by African rhythms and funk since the early 80s, and has never let anything hold him back from keeping his ears open to listen to all the corners of the world and compile his sets from that; Bertú takes you with him from Bamako to Bombay, Barcelona, Bahia, Buenos Aires, Bucharest and farther.
In recent years DJ Bertú played at Mystic Grooves, Simba Ngoma, he is one of the residents of the GlobaLoca! club night in Utrecht and he frequently plays in Rasa, Utrecht.
