Winter Storm is an international quartet, which was established in Norway and initially inspired by the work of the pianist Lennie Tristano. From that starting point, they’ve come to a mixture of composition and improvisation of electric and acoustic elements. Their latest CD ‘Spinnaker’ won the Independent Music Award in 2013. The musicians are from Argentinia, Norway and the Netherlands.
