After 19 episodes of Acoustic Roots, the compilers of the programme review the music that was played in Acoustic Roots over the year 2014 .In 2014 the Concertzender moved its office from the Conclusion building to the ‘Theater Kikker’ location in the city centre of Utrecht and at the same time Acoustic Roots moved to the 16th chapel in the Pieterskerk, the ‘Pieternel’.

Whereas usually the living room of ‘Pieternel’ is the centre of the programme, where listeners are being invited to join and enjoy the music together with the compilers, Karen and Hans are now in the kitchen of Acoustic Roots. This is where they compile the menu, create the dishes and do the tasting. They are looking back to an Acoustic year with their personal favourite tracks and highlights and they preview the upcoming year.
