In The Source of Sound string are central this month. Without tension ropes and strings would hardly make a sound, but when there is tension you can make an almost indefinite amount of sounds by picking, plucking, rubbing or striking them. It is the source of sound for a kaleidoscope of musical instruments of which you will hear the best and most unique during this program.
