Beth Custer – on the edges of tribal grooves

In the nineties, the American bass clarinettist, singer and composer Beth Custer was active in the jungle and tribal scene. With her group TranceMission, she made popular tribal dance music; as a guest of the Sandbox Trio she was rubbing up the edges of the genre. In this episode music from TranceMission’s third CD ‘Headlight’ and from the record Custer made with the Sandbox Trio.
