Conductor, composer and pianist Duke Ellington (1899-1974), part 62. Concert recordings from February 1963 in the Olympia theatre in Paris, published under the title The Great Paris Concert. The orchestra is in great shape, as usual in France where jazz was early recognized and appreciated as an innovative music style.
