This summer (11 July – 19 August 2016), we broadcast special summer editions of our daily programme on the oeuvre of Johann Sebastian Bach. Summer episode 01: the last three Brandenburg Concertos.
The Brandenburg Concertos no. 6, 5 and 4, performed by the English company Florilegium. This ensemble reverses the order and begins with the 6th and ends with the 1st concert, with the result that the 6th concert receives all the attention.
