Monthly platform for Ars Acustica. Varying from experimental-impro to acousmatics, from sound and radio-art to composed contemporary music. With regular coverage of festivals, and original recordings by the Concertzender. From the 10th to the 12th of june, the yearly Ars Acustica meeting took place – this time in Galway, Ireland. For several years, the Ars Acustica group has initiated a composition for composers of radio art and electroacoustics, the Palma Ars Acustica. This year, there were 21 submissions from as many countries. From these, 6 nominations were selected. Anna Raimondo was the eventual winner, with her radio play “Me, My English and all the languages of My Life”. Tonight in Cafe Sonore, the second episode about this extraordinary competition.
