The Italian pianist Roberto Magris (1959) is not well-known in the Netherlands, but is renowned in the international hardbob scene.
Today, his own versions of themes by those who inspired him: Elmo Hope, Tadd Dameron, Duke Ellington, Mal Waldron and others. Recordings from 2012.
