Christina Pluhar’s ensemble L’Arpeggiata plays selections from the opera Orfeo Chamán on our CD of the Week. The result is a combination of self-composed music, early music and folk music with texts by Hugo Chaparro Valderrama and inspired by Glück and Monteverdi.
