Interview with a Dutch jazz musician. Today’s guest is guitarist and composer Bram Stadhouders (1987). He studied electronic music in Utrecht and got his masters degree in composition in The Hague. He doesn’t make a distinction between classical music and improvisation: in his work they flow together.
He has worked with many musicians, including Onno Govaert, Harmen Fraanje, and for a long time he worked with the Dutch Chamber Choir and Bulgarian Choir Angelite. He was selected by BIMhuis Carte Blanche, the North Sea Jazz composition and the Dutch Young VIP tour at a young age, all important assignments.
He has worked with Polish saxophonist Grzech Piotrowski and Norwegian ice percussionist Terje Isungset. He has released 7 CDs.
