Combinations from the 1940s and 50s. Trumpet player Louis Smith (1931-2016) became known in the 50’s through some albums he recorded for Blue Note. Afterwards he would mainly teach, but in the 70’s he made a comeback with the album ‘Just Friends’. In the 90’s he made several recordings and he frequently was on tour.
