French pianist and band leader Laurent Cugny worked with the American arranger Gil Evans in 1987. He also wrote a book about his hero: ‘La Vegas Tango, une Vie de Gil Evans’. With his Gil Evans Paris Workshop he elaborates on Evans’ characteristic style.
