An educational programme featuring early music. On Saturday 2 September, during the Early Music Festival 2017, the Fantasias for viola da gamba by Telemann, which were found again in 2015, will be performed by Philippe Pierlot, who will also perform works by Bach and Schenk. Viola da gamba player Thomas Fritzsch recorded the Fantasias in 2016. During today’s broadcast we will play most of this CD.
