An award winning acoustic duo from southwest England. Their music unites strong roots in the traditional music of the British Isles, with influences as far as Indian classical music and American blues. But also with contemporary songwriting in combination with traditional songs, and using instruments such as: harmonics, beatbox, violin, banjo, guitar and double voices, they make a special sound together. The duo received the ‘Best Duo’ award from ‘BBC Folk Awards’ in 2014 at a ceremony in the Royal Albert Hall in London.

40 jaar Surinaamse muziek in Nederland .
Just before the Surinamese independence in 1975, large groups of Surinamese traveled to the Netherlands. They included a range of cultural expressions, including music. The IKO Foundation has taken on production for a book with 2 CDs featuring 40 Surinam artists who have stamped the Surinamese music in the Netherlands over the period 1975-2015, with artists such as: FraFra Sound, Re-Play , Ronald Snijders but also Robby Harman, Kenny B and many others. This CD. provides a clear overview of the variety of Surinamese music in the Netherlands.
