The excellent Dutch trombonist and band leader Bart Lust sadly passed away on New Year’s Eve 2017. He was 50 years old. Hij was a versatile person, played in dozens of orchestras and was a beloved colleague. He was moreover a highly appreciated employee at de Concertzender with his monthly programme LATIN JAZZ. As homage his last CD under his own name with a quintet, recorded in 2014.
