Elena Kats-Chernin
In the summer of 2019 a new opera by Elena Kats-Chernin will have its premiere in Sydney. Thus, the Uzbek-Australian composer expands her oeuvre even further. Recently a CD box with 10 CD’s of her works appeared on the occasion of her 60th birthday.
We had broadcasted some of her work on the Concertzender before, and in a number of broadcasts we will go deeper into the work of Kats.
There are also recordings of pieces which have not been heard before.
