The Art of the Improvisers

The Florian Ross Quintet by this German piano player and composer (1972). The quintet has an international line-up, consisting of a singer, a saxophone player and a rhythm section. What is original about this is that the singer doubles as a wind player, together with the saxophone. She also improvises while singing, often without lyrics. These recordings were made in June 2018.
