Tango Fusión

The programme series TANGO FUSIÓN is about exchanges and fusions of tango with other music cultures and performance practices, such as pop, jazz, classic, or other world music. In this broadcast you’ll hear recordings of the  duo Wim Warman – Ruud Bergamin, alternated with Wim Warman as piano soloist. They play compositions of their own and classical tango’s in a new adaptation. Together they stand for fusion of tango & jazz, also called TangoZZ.

TangoZZs, 2011. Duo Wim Warman – Ruud Bergamin (piano and saxophone, a tango/jazz/ latin combination. The recordings have been made during a performance in the Van Capellenhuis in Capelle aan den IJssel.
