Jorge Velez. Live set @ Party Line Loft Party, New York City, December 2016. Jorge Velez is working as a composer and musician since the mid 90’s. Velez released albums in a variety of styles on many labels including RH, Creme, LIES and Berceuse Heroique.
This Party Line 2016 concert represents his approach to playing live: semi-improvised psychedelic dance music, that touches upon what he grew up dancing to: Detroit/Chicago and New Jersey House and Techno. Jorge Velez uses a bare minimum of equipment. In this case an Octatrack, Blofeld synth and OP-1 synthesizer.
