Music by 20th century composers. This episode: Bela Bartok VIII.
This year we commemorate the passing of Béla Bartók 75 years ago. He is remembered as the most important Hungarian composer, together with Franz Liszt. He was one of the key figures in 20th century classical music, but he also really influenced Hungarian folk music. Every first Thursday of the month we play his music on Concertzender.
