Parts from the 7th en 8th Symphonies of Bruckner in this episode of Between Dreams and Reality.
Since we had no time to broadcast the entire 4th part of the 7th Symphony last time, we again put it on the programme. Next, we play the first three parts of the 8th Symphony. Anton Bruckner was composing his 8th Symphony from 1884 to 1890. He is supposed to have called this work ‘The Apocalyptic Symphony’.
