In memoriam Annie Cordy (1928-2020)
We play songs from her long musical career: 1952 to 2012. Besides being a singer, Annie Cordy was also a musical star and an actress. Until she was ninety years old, she could still regularly be seen in the cinema and on TV. During the quarantine this spring, she again had success with one of her old songs in a new look: Ça ira mieux demain. We have made a selection from her oeuvre which contains 700 songs. Beside Cordy herself, we hear André Bourvil, Luis Mariano, and Manu Dibango, who died from the effects of coronavirus this spring.
