More happy blues.
Mouth organ virtuoso Corky Siegel [see picture], made his name with the Siegel-Schwall Blues Band in the nineteen sixties. In the years to come, he occupied himself mainly with classical repertoire. And then, he got the brilliant idea to connect the two worlds and he started composing for blues harmonica and string quartet. From then on, he makes the most cheering blues music imaginable with Corky Siegel’s Chamber Blues. In this episode you hear pieces from their second studio record and from the live album Traveling Chamber Blues Show.
