In “Stubborn Student” part VI we are in Bonn at Christmas 1790. The whole city is in an uproar because the great Haydn is coming to visit. When he goes to church on Sunday morning, he is surprised to hear his own mass, performed by an excellent ensemble, including the 20-year-old Beethoven on the viola. You will hear parts of that magnificent mass and some compositions that Beethoven wrote in the same period.
