The Art of the Improvisers

The British big band Loose Tubes was active from 1984 to 1990. In 2010, 20 years after the break-up of the band, Django Bates, the keyboard player and one of the composers of the band, released the CD Dancing on Frith Street on his own label Marble Stone. It was recorded in Ronnie Scott’s club during the last week of the band’s existence. It was followed by Säd Afrika in 2012 and Arriving in 2015. A selection from Dancing on Frith Street and Arriving.
