Over a year ago, American guitarist Tony Rice passed away. In life he was already the most legendary flatpicker of all time. He started out as a bluegrass musician, but, thanks to his friend, colleague and teacher John Carlini, he developed into a skilled improvisator with a firm grasp on the jazz tradition.
