In An Early Evening Stroll, we once again dive into the gigantic pond of Felix Mendelssohn’s early works, many of which have never been published. In these, Felix is fully into experimentation, directed by his teacher Zelter, who was a Bach freak. Exceptional at the time. Felix himself played piano, organ and violin, all at a very high technical level. Today we feature solely pieces Felix wrote between the ages of ten and twelve.
