Bach Ad Infinitum

Episode 1133. The main theme of this Bach week is Candlemas (Maria Reiniging or Maria Lichtmis in Dutch), which is celebrated on Thursday, February 2. In addition, there will be cantatas for the period between Epiphany and Easter and attention to newly released CDs. Today, among others, we will listen to cantata “Nimm, was dein ist, und gehe hin”, BWV 144 for Septuagesima Sunday, the ninth Sunday before Easter.
