The recordings by Concertzender were made in August of last year. Conductor and concertmaster of the Dutch Bach Society, Shunske Sato, plays Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata, and after the glorious clarinet quintet by Brahms, performed by Alan Kay and the Rusquartet, we treat you to two major works by Rudolf Escher, whose music is actually played far too little.
