The second broadcast featuring new works by Australian Aboriginal composers.
The reason for this is Ngarra-Burria, a development program in Australia for musicians of Aboriginal descent, now usually referred to as First Peoples. Ngarra-Burria means: listen – sing. At the end, we will also hear Quamby by Peter Sculthorpe, the Australian composer who has done a lot for Aboriginal music.
