We present to you a beautiful hour of Mahler on Radio Romantica. The literally leading baritone Christian Gerhaher sings accompanied by his regular pianist Gerold Huber and by the magnificent symphony orchestra from Montreal, Canada, conducted by Kent Nagano.
Enclosed between two blocks of intimate songs, you will hear the Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen with texts by Mahler himself. The Gerhaher/Huber duo is world-class and knows how to rediscover the romantic song with each recital anywhere in the world.
