Another hour dedicated to Brahms during today’s Radio Romantica. We couldn’t resist. Today: his Cello Sonatas.
In his Sonatas, the composer unveils to us the most exquisite lyrical melodies, channeled, of course, through the masterful hands of the renowned Latvian cellist, Mischa Maisky, accompanied by Ukrainian pianist Pavel Gililov. Both artists have been residing and working in Western Europe for decades, having graced the world’s major stages numerous times and produced countless recordings.
