Jacko Schoonderwoerd played a significant role in the ensembles surrounding late composer Sean Bergin. He performed with American musicians such as Curtis Clark, Fay Victor and Paul Stocker and collaborated with improvisations musicians such as Michael Moore and Jaap Blonk. He also performed with Susanne Alt and Loek Dikker. For a long time, he has been leading the sessions at Amsterdam’s Literary Café De Engelbewaarder together with pianist Leo Bouwmeester and drummer Victor de Boo.
