On Sunday afternoon, January 26, Dame Sarah Connolly will sing arias from operas by Händel in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Listeners to the Concertzender can attend this unique concert with a significant discount!
The most beautiful arias from operas including Ariodante, Giulio Cesare and Rinaldo will be performed by mezzo-soprano Dame Sarah Connolly, a living legend. The arias include “Lascia ch’io pianga”, “Va Tacito” and “Scherza Infida”. Dame Sarah is accompanied by the baroque ensemble Il Gardellino, led by harpsichordist Korneel Bernolet.
