After the successful series about Hummel programme maker/presenter Thijs Bonger starts a new series on Tuesday 3rd April 2018 between 19.00 and 20.00 GENIALE MUZIEKVRIENDEN. Even before
they actually met Haydn was a shining model for the 24 year younger Mozart. Because Haydn was already famous and Mozart was just beginning his career. Following Haydn Mozart wrote a symphony full of strong emotions, which became famous through the film ‘Amadeus’. But Haydn’s equally passionate symphony which inspired Mozart is never heard. Haydn’s string quartets also made such an impression on Mozart that he himself wrote some. Programme maker/presenter Thijs Bonger sought what Haydn and Mozart meant for each other. That led to a new series of programmes. Every first Tuesday of the month at 19.00 on the Concertzender.
